Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

Please read carefully. MycoMind is an educational and preparation platform. It is not a medical provider, does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and does not prescribe or supply any substance. See our Medical Disclaimer.

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and [Legal Entity Name] ("MycoMind", "we", "us"), operator of mycomind.app (the "Platform"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Medical Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Platform. The Platform is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly permit minors to register. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Platform is lawful in your jurisdiction.

3. What MycoMind Is — and Is Not

MycoMind provides educational content, self-assessment tools, readiness information, longitudinal tracking, and a directory of independent third-party providers, to help people prepare for and make informed decisions about psychedelic-assisted therapy.

  • MycoMind does not provide medical or mental-health care, advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • MycoMind does not prescribe, recommend a specific treatment for your individual situation, or provide, sell, or supply any controlled substance.
  • A readiness result is educational information, not a medical clearance, approval, or authorization to undertake any treatment.
  • Using the Platform does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client, or other professional care relationship with MycoMind.

Always consult a qualified, licensed professional before making any health decision.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Subscriptions, Billing & Auto-Renewal

Certain features require a paid membership (currently US$19/month). Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details.

  • Auto-renewal: Your membership automatically renews each month at the then-current price until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize us (via Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from your account's billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the current paid period.
  • Refunds: Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and there are no refunds or credits for partial periods. [Confirm your refund policy with counsel.]
  • Price changes: We may change subscription prices; we will give you advance notice, and changes apply to the next renewal.
  • EU/UK consumers — right of withdrawal: You normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. By starting to use the paid digital content immediately, you may acknowledge that you lose this right once the service has begun. [Confirm implementation with counsel.]

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or to facilitate the acquisition, sale, or use of any substance in violation of applicable law;
  • Rely on the Platform as a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or legal advice;
  • Misrepresent your identity, age, or health information;
  • Attempt to access other users' data, reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Platform;
  • Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.

7. Provider Directory & Third Parties

The Platform may list independent, third-party clinics, facilitators, and resources for informational purposes. We do not operate, employ, endorse, vet the ongoing quality of, or take responsibility for any listed provider, and listing is not a recommendation that any option is appropriate for you. You are responsible for independently verifying any provider's licensing, legality, and suitability, and any engagement with them is solely between you and that provider.

8. Your Content

You retain ownership of the information and content you submit (e.g., intake answers, journal entries). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display it solely to operate and improve the Platform and provide the services to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. De-identified research data is shared only with your separate, explicit opt-in.

9. Intellectual Property

The Platform, its content, and software are owned by MycoMind or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial use.

10. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information or readiness result is accurate, complete, or suitable for your circumstances. Our Medical Disclaimer is incorporated into these Terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MycoMind and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Platform, any reliance on its content, or any interaction with a listed provider. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g., for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold MycoMind harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Platform or violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to comply with law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Governing Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of [Jurisdiction/Venue], unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise. [Confirm dispute-resolution mechanism (courts vs. arbitration) with counsel.]

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
